Osteogenic/Angiogenic Dual Growth Factor Delivery Microcapsules for Regeneration of Vascularized Bone Tissue
When dual growth factor-loaded microcapsules (MCs) were assessed for in vitro osteogenesis of umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UCB-MSCs) on 2D and 3D environments, MCs contributed to much better UCB-MSCs osteogenesis as confirmed by von Kossa staining, immunofluorescence, calcium content measurement, and osteogenic markers expression. Isolation of Foreign Material-Free Endothelial Progenitor Cells Using CD31 Aptamer and Therapeutic Application for Ischemic Injury
To utilize apatmers for isolation of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs), investigators successfully generated aptamers that recognize human CD31, an endothelial cell marker.
